The research titled ‘Human Trafficking: Addressing Women and Children’s Risk from Enhanced Road Connectivity in Nepal’, was undertaken to enhance the understanding of the current and changing dynamics of trafficking and its vulnerabilities in the context of road connectivity in Nepal. The study provided recommendations to address issues and mitigate risks of human trafficking in relation to road connectivity and mapped existing agencies and networks for anti-trafficking efforts in the study sites. A strategic action plan for mainstreaming an anti-human trafficking component into road connectivity initiatives was developed based on the findings and recommendations of this research. This document presents actionable toolkits for relevant stakeholders that can be adapted to address human trafficking that may arise as a result of road connectivity within the context of Nepal.
