[경제] Measuring VBI Progress

This report intends to assess the progress made in advancing the VBI strategy and broader sustainability agenda by the VBI Community of Practitioners or “CoP”. According to Bank Negara Malaysia, the VBI strategy is a holistic approach for Malaysia’s industry players to deliver the intended outcomes of Shariah that generate positive and sustainable impact to the economy, community, and environment. The CoP is a collaborative platform for industry players to strategically advance industry-wide implementation of the VBI agenda. The CoP membership has grown from six founding members during the introduction of the VBI Strategy Paper by Bank Negara Malaysia in August 2017 to fifteen representing nearly 60 percent of AIBIM member banks. Fourteen CoP members participated in the survey conducted for the purpose of this report.
