[경제] The Sustainable Land and Water Management Project (SLWMP) : Report on Short Survey for ICR : Development Impact Evaluation (DIME)

The Sustainable Land and Water Management Project (SLWMP) in Northern Ghana provides an opportunity to estimate the effect of soil and water conserving technology and practice adoption on environmental and agricultural outcome. A long-term follow-up survey was collected in between November 2 and December 30, 2020 by SLWMP project in preparation for the planned Implementation Completion and Results Report (ICR). Because of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, a short survey was implemented among farmers by project staff rather than a longer independent survey as was done during the baseline and midline. The data in this survey allows the IE team and the project to assess how the farmers who participated in the SLWMP activities perceive the program, whether they have continued to adopt SLM practices promoted by the project, whether trees received under the PES program are still alive, and whether these trees have begun producing any tangible gains for the farmers who participated. These findings complement earlier findings from the baseline and midline where more detailed data collected by independent surveyors was able to measure more in-depth indicators such as agricultural revenue earned by farmers.
