[경제] Advancing Cooperation in the Maritime Sector in South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation Program

The TA was approved to advance cooperation in the maritime sector of five countries under the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Program. It aimed to (i) advance cooperation in the maritime sector of five countries (Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka) under the SASEC program; (ii) address common issues adversely impacting the performance of the SASEC ports through the delivery of analytical studies to identify maritime connectivity infrastructure projects, and capacity-building initiatives; and (iii) implement activities that encourage dialogue among stakeholders in the maritime sector.
