Mark Moyar is currently the William P. Harris Chair in Military History at Hillsdale College, a position he has held since 2021. Before this, he taught at the U.S. Marine Corps University, the Joint Special Operations University, and Texas A & M University. He has authored seven books and several book chapters, as well as articles that have been published in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and elsewhere. During the Trump administration, he served from 2018-19 as the Director of the Office of Civilian- Military Cooperation at the U.S. Agency for International Development.`
