In one of the astute engagements with contemporary literary and cultural theory in her recent book, Angelia Poon cites Walter Mignolo's notion of decoloniality, and in particular his displacement of the Cartesian 'I think, therefore I am' with an epistemology of location: 'I am where I think' (82).
