The Plan: Within the context of the 8th National Development Plan, Zambia is currently developing the comprehensive agriculture support programme. It focuses on the development of farm blocks, strengthening and improving the delivery of extension services, promoting irrigation and water management, agricultural inputs support management, agricultural mechanization, and the development and operation of an integrated agricultural information system.
