Abstract

The publication that you are holding in your hands is in its own way quite unique. I cannot remember if there has been a book published here, focusing on contemporary Czech-American relations, with Americans, who have been actually involved in developing those relations, as joint authors. It is even more remarkable since the Czech-American relations are far from being in the centre of the Washington establishment attention in these days, nor do they bask in the glory as we remember it from the 1990’.
