GESI is an important thematic priority of ADB, as set out in its country partnership strategy (CPS) 2013-2017. ADB’s work in GESI mainstreaming in Nepal is guided by the government’s GESI related policies and plans and ADB’s own Gender and Development (GAD) Policy 1998.
