 I have the honour to inform you that on 29 March 2016, Brazil accepted the Protocol Amending the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization, done at Geneva on 27 November 2014 (the "Protocol") .

 In accordance with its paragraph 4, the Protocol shall enter into force for Brazil upon acceptance of the Protocol by two thirds of the Members.

Pursuant to paragraph 1 of the Protocol, Annex 1A to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization shall, upon entry into force of the Protocol, be amended by the insertion of the Agreement on Trade Facilitation, as set out in the Annex to the Protocol, to be placed after the Agreement on Safeguards.

 This notification is furnished in accordance with paragraph 5 of the Protocol.
