[농업경제] Country Programming Framework for Bangladesh 2019–2020

방글라데시 국외연구자료 연구보고서 FAO FAO 발간일 : 2020-01-02 등록일 : 2020-02-28 원문링크

The Country Programming Framework (CPF) 2019–2020 is a central strategic document that defines the Food and Agriculture Organization’s priorities, key areas of technical cooperation, and medium-term country-level programming in support of the Government of Bangladesh.

The CPF 2019–2020 has three priority areas or ‘pillars’. Each is aligned with the Government’s development priorities and FAO’s strategic objectives. They contribute towards achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The three priority areas are:
1. Healthy, safe, and nutritious food
2. Sustainability of productive ecosystems
3. Resilient and inclusive agri-economic growth

As a long-term partner of Bangladesh, providing responsive support for more than 40 years, FAO has helped the country transform its agricultural sector into the success it is today. FAO’s technical expertise across multiple sectors (crops, fisheries, forestry, and livestock) means that we are uniquely positioned to make an impact and meet current and future challenges. This document sets out how FAO will leverage its resources, knowledge, expertise, experience, and innovation over the current two-year period.

In order to maximise its impact, FAO will transition further to a programmatic approach that will optimise its technical expertise and financial resources across projects and sectors. FAO will find integrated solutions with its partners and increase collaboration with other UN organizations, notably the World Food Programme and the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
