The primary purpose of this evaluation is to help systematically identify new opportunities to support UNICEF and partners through innovation, and capture learnings that can be rapidly infused into the current work on innovation to heighten its chances for success.  In this way, the evaluation is expected to enable systematic evidence-based  planning  of  innovation  activities  and  partnerships,  as  well  as  reflections  on  what  is working, what is not working and why, and to inform the continued evolution of the UNICEF 2016-2020 Country Programme during programme implementation.
