The main objective of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) project preparation technical assistance (PPTA) was to support the Government of India in mainstreaming public–private partnerships (PPPs) by developing, structuring, and facilitating the bidding of infrastructure projects. The expected impact was improved infrastructure coverage and service provision efficiencies. The expected outcome included an increased number of commercially sustainable and bankable PPP infrastructure projects with the ability to attract private sector and commercial financing among the various state governments, central line ministries, and other government agencies.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA. IED overall assessment is successful.
