India has open-heartedly adopted Artificial Intelligence (AI) which leads our nation to become smarter and pioneering. AI is piercing in every sector at an incredible pace to meet up the global trend of technology and innovation. India, being the swiftly flourishing nation with the second largest population on the globe, has a major contribution to the AI revolution. Whether it is the healthcare sector, agriculture, education, and transportation, the gamut of AI has reached to every nook and corner in India. AI presents the prospect to harmonize and complement human intelligence and augment the manner people live and work. The focus of this chapter is to know the chief role of AI to strengthen the Indian economy. While, this chapter contains the objectives, role of AI to India's transformation, numerous initiatives taken by the Indian government to introduce AI, the economic impact of AI to lead India on the road of growth and development, the impact of AI on various sectors, and its SWOT analysis.
