[경제] India - Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project : Eighth Progress Report on the Implementation of Management’s Action Plan in Response to the Inspection Panel Investigation Report

This is the eighth progress report to the Board of Executive Directors on the implementation of the management action plan (MAP) in response to the Inspection Panel Investigation Report on the India Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project. On August 3, 2012, the Inspection Panel registered a Request for Inspection concerning the Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydro Electric Project (VPHEP). The Request was submitted by residents of Chamoli district in the State of Uttarakhand (the Requesters). Management responded to the claims in the Request on October 24, 2012. In its report to the Board, the Panel found the request eligible and recommended that the Executive Directors authorize an investigation. On July 1, 2014, the Panel issued its report outlining the findings of its investigation, and this, along with management’s report and recommendation, including the action plan, was discussed at the Board on September 30, 2014.
