The program was formulated to build on the stabilization measures introduced by the Second Capital Market Development Program (CMDP2), and to support the implementation of the Bangladesh Capital Market Development Master Plan, 2012–2022. The program focused on implementing the regulatory and institutional reforms mandated by the legislative acts introduced under CMDP2 and to address the remaining constraints.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the program. IED overall assessment: Less than successful.
