[경제] Tracking the labor market recovery from COVID-19 in Nepal Brief 4: The role of domestic labor mobility in the recovery

The brief is the fourth in a series of five briefs that investigate different aspects of the jobs and economic recovery process from the COVID 19 pandemic Nepal. It uses data from the two rounds of the World Bank’s SAR COVID-19 Phone Monitoring Surveys. The second survey was implemented about 18 months after the first pandemic-induced economic lockdowns in region, to assess the economic recovery in the medium term. The first three briefs highlighted the incomplete and unequal recovery in jobs; the volatile nature of the job recovery process; and challenges faced by those who are yet to recover jobs. The next and final brief will investigate the downstream impacts of these shocks on economic and non-economic welfare.
