[경제] India: National Grid Improvement Project

The project was designed to strengthen India’s interregional connections for bulk electric power transmission by constructing 1,365 kilometers (km) of 800 kilovolts (kV) high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines and associated substations. It was expected that the project would contribute to removing transmission bottlenecks, reducing losses, enabling efficient use of existing and planned power plants, facilitating development of a national power trading market, and hence promote greater private sector participation through open access to the national transmission grid.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Successful.
