This paper focus on the socioeconomic difficulties caused by COVID-19, which endangers not only people but also all state institutions, particularly the government. Pakistanis' survival is in jeopardy because COVID-19 has had a substantial impact on the social and economic structure of the nation. The Pakistani government initially announced a 1.2 trillion-dollar fiscal stimulus package as aspect of its instant reaction to the pandemic, but financial instability, job loss anxiety, food shortages, and vaccine limited supply are some of the major issues that are escalating people's fear of the state. We analyze the impact of COVID-19 on several economic factors by concentrating on country and society, personal liberty, education, the economy, and medicine in an effort to understand the chaotic impact on the socio-economic fabrics. Analysis shows that COVID-19 has jeopardized every element of human existence, yet the threat still exists. The study suggests that in order to revive the socioeconomic problems and advance human development, short - term, medium-, and long-term measures are necessary.
