[정책]Navigating the energy policy landscape of Bangladesh: A stern review and meta-analysis

This study examines the energy policy landscape and renewable energy efforts in Bangladesh, with the goals of achieving sustainable development and reducing the climate change effects as the primary foci of the investigation. According to the findings of the study, it is critical to incorporate goals pertaining to clean energy, demand response, and energy efficiency into national policy to cut emissions of greenhouse gases and lower levels of air pollution. The research investigates existing Bangladesh's policy gaps and needs for effective Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) implementation, with a particular focus on the areas of policies and laws, capacity building and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, as well as funding and integration. It is noted that the initiatives and adaptation activities made by Bangladesh, such as the Mujib Climate Prosperity Plan, the National Solar Energy Roadmap, and the Forest and Carbon Inventories, are crucial steps toward meeting the country's renewable energy targets. In conclusion, the research output emphasizes the need for both comprehensive energy planning and the efficient implementation of energy policies to guarantee a sustainable energy future for Bangladesh. This research can help policymakers achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the face of global climate change risks by improving energy management measures in developing countries. Alongside, this research was compiled with a broader sense of culminating energy scenario in Bangladesh which can further aid as a supporting document of in-depth analysis of all the factors relevant to climate change and vulnerabilities of Bangladesh.
