The project was designed to finance a range of small-scale subprojects for flood management, drainage, water conservation, surface irrigation, and command area development. The envisaged impact was enhanced productivity and sustainability of agriculture in subproject areas. Its expected outcome was sustainable small-scale water resources management systems in subproject areas.
This report validated the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Successful.
