[경제] Mid-size Cities, Urban Municipalities are Nepal’s New Engines of Growth

Improper drinking water, sanitation facilities, and waste disposal, topped up by waterlogging from poor drainage, have been worsening the urban environment of Nepal and simultaneously posing several challenges, including health risks.
With ADB and OPEC Fund’s support, the project improved the quality of life with more socially inclusive economic growth in key regional centers in Nepal.
The project had a community development program component to uplift the living standard of poor and vulnerable people residing in the urban periphery of the project municipalities.
