[경제] How Female-Friendly Are Workplaces in Urban Pakistan?

Only 22% of women join the labor force in Pakistan. Data from a Lahore job search platform show that limited job opportunities exist for women, highlighting cultural and social norms that often prevent them from working outside of the home. This brief calls for opening up more job opportunities for women as well as incentivizing investment in gender-segregated bathrooms and prayer areas, safe transport, and childcare to make workplaces in Pakistan more female-friendly.
