The first tranche of the multitranche financing facility (MFF) was focused on replacing the Lakwa Power Plant (LPP) with a more efficient power plant and institutional capacity building of Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) and Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL). The intended outcome was increased capacity and efficiency in LPP.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Successful.
