The Indonesian economy continues to perform well with a stable growth mainly led by domestic demand. Looking ahead, it is expected to continue its strong growth supported by domestic demand as private consumption will keep its robustness and private investment will pick up coupled with accelerated infrastructure investment. Indonesia’s low export dependency will limit the direct negative impact through trading channel of the slowdown of the Chinese economy and trade frictions between the US and China.
