[경제] Reimagining Viet Nam’s Microfinance Sector: Recommendations for Institutional and Legal Reforms

Achieving the targets of Viet Nam's new National Financial Inclusion Strategy requires considerable support from the microfinance sector as well as other stakeholders in the finance sector. The paper finds that MSPs in the country face limited access to funds and the lack of commercialization. It offers recommendations on policy reform and the application of wholesale lending models that can enable Viet Nam's microfinance sector to become more active, prominent, and competitive on a regional level along with its neighbors in Asia.
