The project was formulated to enhance community resilience to disaster risks by piloting an approach that would develop coomunity-based disaster risk management (CBDRM) plans for collective action by bagh (subdistrict) neighborhood groups (BNGs). The project was the first in Mongolia to introduce and pilot a bottom-up institutionalized mechanism involving communities in disaster risk management (DRM).
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Successful.
