[교육/사회] 교육의 질 측면에서 살펴 본 모잠비크 농촌지역의 교육현황과 도전과제: 가자 도 시부뚜 군 알뚜 상갸느 면을 중심으로

In the last 15 years, international society has focused on the achievement of primary education by ensuring access to education and now plans to concentrate on quality in education for sustainable development for the next 15 years with the unfinished remain goals. What is the quality in education? What is contained in that concept? The paper focused on the concept of quality in education and, for the analytical framework, input-process-output model was employed. The researchers explored the features of rural education through a case study in Mozambique and analyzed the major issues on them with a document analysis and site survey including semi-conduct interview. Although Mozambique was expected to achieve universal primary education by 2015, through the study, the researchers found that the factors (input-process-output) which consist of quality in education in rural area were fragile and institutional, economic and social elements were not ensured for quality in education. In spite of international initiatives, individual country still confronts the gap between urban and rural area at the practice level, and problems of systems and capability to be improved.
