[경제] Nigeria’s Economy will not Transform Without Adequate and Reliable Electricity

In Nigeria, the expression, “never expect power always (nepa),” is an intergenerational euphemism for the defunct stateowned monopoly, the National Electricity Power Authority (NEPA). Established in 1972, NEPA’s primary task was to develop and manage electricity supply in Nigeria. Regrettably, except for a few years into NEPA’s creation, access to reliable electricity in Nigeria has remained an illusion.
