[경제] Arbitration in Iraq : Implementing the New York Convention, Modern Arbitration Law and Capacity-Building

This part will consider the interaction between these types of mechanism in arbitral centers, considering practices in centers from the MENA region, as well as highly regarded institutions elsewhere. First, it briefly sets out the project’s methodology. Second, it discusses the influence of the domestic legal regimes and local interests on the definition of ‘good practices’, and the scope of available practices that arbitral centers may adopt. Finally, it compares practices by centers across six main areas: arbitrator requirements, conduct of proceedings, award drafting, fees and costs, model clauses and mediation.
