Climate change and extreme events (wildfires, heat, cyclones, storms, and floods) have affected human health; shelter; displacement; incomes and livelihoods; security; and inequality. Extremes are surpassing the resilience of some ecological and human systems, and some have exceeded projections for 2100. Extreme events have caused economic losses in forest productivity and crops and livestock, forestry, and fisheries. To assess the potential impact of climate physical risk scenarios it is beneficial to work with granular geographic exposure data. This report presents steps to conduct a climate transition and physical stress test.
