This report focuses on the following: 1) introduction to the approach regarding the modernization of traffic lights systems considering the advent of 5G technology for São Paulo; 2) presentation of how the authors generalized the approach by creating typologies with the goal to quickly give a suggestion about modernization scenarios to cities; and 3) give an overview about implications, requirements and possible next steps in order to customize the approach for your city.
