The country operations business plan (COBP), 2020–2022 of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) is consistent with ADB’s country partnership strategy (CPS) 2017–2020 for the Lao PDR. The COBP will also focus on inclusive and sustainable development in line with the operational priorities of ADB’s Strategy 2030: (i) making cities more livable by easing infrastructure constraints and providing urban services; (ii) improving human capital to reduce inequality in access to opportunities, and facilitating the creation of quality jobs; (iii) enhancing rural development and food security; and (iv) providing climate- and disaster-resilient infrastructure and services.
