The project was expected to contribute to reduce adverse impacts of unsafe and unreliable water supply causing health concerns, diseases, and heightened child mortality rates. The project comprised a first step in the government’s plan to provide 24-hour access to safe drinking water in all district capitals in Timor-Leste.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the project. IED overall assessment: Less than successful.
