Power Struggles and Implicatious on the Central Asia Even though geopolitics which syas, "occupy Eurasia to dominate the world" is one of the classic theories, it is still meaningful to see how the US, Russia, China, Turkey and India make efforts to expand their influence on the Central Asia. The five States of the Central Asia got easily the independence thanks to the demise of the Soviet Union. However, they have suffered from corruption and severe poverty because of a delay or a failure of political and economic reform and also have faced a so called 'soft security threat' that includes illegal immigrant, drug trafficking, fundamentalist Muslim, small arm's proliferation, and terror along the Pergana valley. In spite of all this problems, the main powers have tried to expand their influences on this region by giving various kinds of aids because the five states are located in the very place with geo-strategic importance and the rich natural resources such as oil and natural gas etc. In addition, these problems of the Central Asia do not be restricted on the internal of the five States in this region because that has an influence on the security and economy of the other regions. Therefore, this paper analyses the aim and policy of the power states and suggests the ways how to maintain their influence on this region in future.
