[국제관계] Mexico, A Challenging Assignment: U.S. Ambassadors Share Their Experiences

멕시코 국외연구자료 연구보고서 - Wilson Center 발간일 : 2022-10-12 등록일 : 2022-11-06 원문링크

Throughout history, U.S. ambassadors have been a vital bridge between the United States and host countries where they serve. They are Washington’s highest representatives and the top interlocutors with foreign governments and their societies. Ambassadors are the United States’ “eyes and ears” around the world.

The United States-Mexico bilateral relationship is unique in the world, bound by geographical, commercial, historical, and cultural ties. In her latest book, "Mexico, A Challenging Assignment: U.S. Ambassadors Share Their Experiences," published by the Wilson Center, Dolia Estévez provides key insight into the U.S.-Mexico relationship through unedited interviews with twelve U.S. Ambassadors to Mexico, chronicling nearly 50 years bilateral relations.
