[정책] Armenia: Human Development Enhancement Program

The program identified education and health sector reforms for ADB support through a policy-based loan. The program addressed four broad areas. The first two were reducing poverty and addressing inequalities, as well as accelerating gender equality and women’s empowerment through better education and access to health services. The other two were making cities more livable by disallowing smoking in public places and supporting road safety through child-seat safety measures and strengthening governance and institutional capacity of the National Institute of Education. The expectation that enhanced participation through investments in human resources, including women, would enable higher economic growth underpinned the program.
